This simulator lets you build star systems, then watch your planets hurl each other into deep space. You can also collide galaxies. You can blow up planets or watch them grow as they swallow asteroids and moons. You can collapse the sun into a black hole or expand it into a red giant. There are achievements for things like hurling the Earth into the sun and finding a way to freeze it solid. It other words, you get to play with gravity!

How about making the Milky Way eat all the other galaxies?
I did that the first day. Unfortunately, the simulator thinks Andromeda is bigger than the Milky Way, so I had to correct it first.
Isn't it, though?
No. Somebody proved, just a few years ago, that the Milky Way is quite a lot bigger than Andromeda. That observation led to another discovery, not long after, that we are in a bar galaxy. A great many stars in the bar are hidden from direct observation, becasue we are looking at the end of the bar.
So how did they measure the galaxy, then?
By observing the orbits of the Magellanic Clouds.
