Now that I have all the technologies I was looking for, I can finally build the ultimate versions of each of my ships. These are final designs. I might design a few more classes for reasons of variety, but not for technological reasons.
This is my final design for a multi-role attack ship.
It has a little bit of everything, in about the balance I want for my fleet as a whole. I see no need for separate carrier, indirect fire and space superiority task forces. I just grab a bunch of these, add the two required scouts, and there's my multi-role task force. It's like having a fleet of Battlestars.
