“Now that I have all the technologies I was looking for, I can finally build the ultimate versions of each of my ships. These are final designs. I might design a few more classes for reasons of variety, but not for technological reasons.

This is my final design for a colony ship.

Three colony bays are enough to colonize any planet with a single ship, so that leaves plenty of room for devensive weapons and shields. The Omega Warhead launcher is just in case the Cynoids beat me to an unoccupied planet, in which case I can clean them off and still land my Ark. The insane number of phasers are all point defense (small ones with an accuracy bonus), to make it hard for any enemy missiles or fighters to take out the Ark on its way to the destination. ”
